This is a 3-D map of Mt. Shasta in northern California near the Oregon border. Mt. Shasta is the beginning of the Cascade Mountain Range that runs along the northwest coast to Canada. If you look on the map the two main glaciers are depicted along with the snowfield the opposite side. Mt. Shasta is famous for its summer glacier skiing and snowboarding as well as being worshiped by cults and hippies. This map comes from siskiyous.edu, a community college at the base of the mountain.
