This trail runs from east to west on the north side of Big Bear Lake. The ski resorts are on the south and southeast side of the lake and you can see them from this trail. One local secret is there is a abandoned ski area just to the south of downtown Big Bear, previously named Snow Forest, and if you can find it, you have it all to your-self.
